Know Your Enemies

It shouldn’t surprise anyone to learn that ACORN is behind the Occupy Wall Street nuisance. The group which commited rampant fraud in working to elect Barack Obama is now working to manufacture a nonexistent restlesness hoping that it will stir up support for the like one-term president.

I, for one, am glad we defunded this group of criminals.

The former New York office for ACORN, the disbanded community activist group, is playing a key role in the self-proclaimed “leaderless” Occupy Wall Street movement, organizing “guerrilla” protest events and hiring door-to-door canvassers to collect money under the banner of various causes while spending it on protest-related activities, sources tell FoxNews.com.

How’d the TSA Miss That?

You’d think with all the privacy-invading going on, the TSA would’ve developed a method of mind-reading or, better yet, mind control. Seems like that should be the goal, right?

And have you ever noticed how it’s always “other passengers” who save the day? Why don’t we hire/empower them to secure the skies, since they seem to always be picking up the slack left by the TSA.

But let’s not be too hard on the TSA. Most of their focus is spent on leaving lewd notes in passenger luggage, stealing from passengers, making 3 year old girls cry and harassing breast cancer surviviors. How are they supposed to protect the skies too?

Anyway, I’m not sure how they missed this man’s nefarious intentions.

“Mr. Garber attempted to open the emergency exit door over the wing while the aircraft was in flight,” FBI Special Agent Patrick Turner told CBS Las Vegas. ”(He) was detained by fellow passengers and the aircraft returned to Las Vegas … without further incident.”

Junk Science – More Dangerous than Junk Food

I pledge that not one dime of taxpayer money will go to fund ludicrous, nanny-state type studies like this one. Absurd!

Researchers in the United States said on Tuesday they had found a “shocking” association — if only a statistical one — between violence by teenagers and the amount of soda they drank.

The Urgency of Parental Choice in Education

Looking at the details of the sex-ed curriculum mandated for the New York City schools, it becomes ever clearer that we must find a way to give power back to the parents. We will work dilligently with parents and experts to find Constitutionally viable, financially responsible ways to ensure that this sort of activism is avoidable and that the damage to children is mitigated.

Personally, I find it disgusting. As a matter of policy, I consider this a high priority.

IMAGINE you have a 10- or 11-year-old child, just entering a public middle school. How would you feel if, as part of a class ostensibly about the risk of sexually transmitted diseases, he and his classmates were given “risk cards” that graphically named a variety of solitary and mutual sex acts? Or if, in another lesson, he was encouraged to disregard what you told him about sex, and to rely instead on teachers and health clinic staff members?

Middle school students will be assigned “risk cards” that rate the safety of different activities, the paper says, from French kissing to oral sex.

The workbooks for older students direct them to a website run by Columbia University, which explores topics such as sexual positions, porn stars, and bestiality. The lessons explain risky sexual behavior and suggest students go to stores to jot condom brands and prices.

The Devil You Know…

Foreign policy is very complicated. It’s made more complicated when the president is either uniformed or has bad intentions. In either case, I’m not sure I see the benefit in overthrowing a dictator who posed little threat in support of a rebel group who turns out to desire to implement Sharia Law.

Seems like a little more thought could’ve gone into this decision. Ditto, Egypt.

The announcement that Islamic sharia law will be the basis of legislation in newly liberated Libya has raised concerns, especially among women, despite Islamists insisting moderation will prevail.

Abolish the TSA, again

Ditto.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/tsa-agents-harass-man-over-silver-coins.html

TSA agents had questioned him about why he was carrying silver coins and demanded to know their value. The screeners also asked if Jeff was collecting them for a hobby or an investment.

In 2009, Ron Paul campaign treasurer Steven Bierfeldt was detained and interrogated for nearly half an hour by TSA officials for the crime of passing a cash box through a metal detector which contained $4,700 in campaign funds.

During the interrogation, Bierfeldt was threatened with arrest and bombarded with questions about his personal life and political viewpoints.

Another example involved war reporter Michael Yon, who was handcuffed and detained after TSA officials demanded to know Yon’s personal income.

Yon said he stood firm and refused to allow his privacy to be violated by TSA thugs because his friend had told him of how she was forced to hand over her Internet passwords and watched in horror as TSA screeners read her private emails.

Abolish the TSA

I reiterate my pledge that mty very first action as president will be to abolish the TSA.

http://www.infowars.com/tsa-agent-jokes-about-finding-sex-toy-during-luggage-inspection/

After arriving at her hotel, Filipovic was unpacking when she discovered her bag had been individually searched by a TSA screener who, having seen the “personal item,” saw fit to comment, writing “GET YOUR FREAK ON GIRL” on the reverse side of an inspection notice.

67,000 passenger loss claims have been filed against the TSA since 2003, a figure the federal agency finds completely acceptable.

Your Money, Finland’s Workers

This is indefensible. We’re chasing so hard after the myth of renewable, clean energy, that we’re willing to give half a billion dollars of your money to a company making cars in Finland.

Your Money. Finland. Worse, check out the rationale: “With the approval of the Obama administration, an electric car company that received a $529 million federal government loan guarantee is assembling its first line of cars in Finland, saying it could not find a facility in the United States capable of doing the work.”

Your government is giving your money to a company that says you aren’t capable of doing the work.

American innovation and creativity is second to none. My administration would never even consider giving your money to a company that did not intend to use your money to employ and enrich you.

This is an outrage!

http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/car-company-us-loan-builds-cars-finland/story?id=14770875

Vice President Joseph Biden heralded the Energy Department’s $529 million loan to the start-up electric car company called Fisker as a bright new path to thousands of American manufacturing jobs. But two years after the loan was announced, the job of assembling the flashy electric Fisker Karma sports car has been outsourced to Finland.

The Kids Aren’t All Right

If food fights were the only mischief our kids ever got into, it’d be one thing. But it seems like we have an entire generation of future felons in our public schools. Part of that is the problem created an ineffective and worthless school system. Most of it is failing families and a crumbling culture.

Regardless, while as a conservative I cannot intervene in this situation, I can certainly express my gratitude when I see an act of courage and appropriate discipline by an adult. this security guard will receive an invitation to my first State of the Union address.

I will devote several lines to calling out these parents who defended their children’s acts of lawlesness and disrespect and chose to blame the school instead. It’s about time we began returning responsibility to the individual.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2051407/Middle-school-security-guard-uses-PEPPER-SPRAY-break-food-fight.html

37 students complained of physical symptoms following the pepper spray.

They were examined by the school nurse, and their parents were contacted. Five parents contacted the school after the incident.

‘It was just terrible in there,’ 12-year-old Derrell Hairston told Wavy.com

Derrell’s mother Tyheshia Hairston said: ‘He stayed up all night coughing and gagging.

‘I just feel like you can’t treat these kids like animals … they’re going to act like animals.’

The difference is, the security guard pepper-sprayed children ALREADY acting like animals, so Ms Hairston’s correlation flawed.
